On May 27, 2025, Kyutech professor Emeritus Nao-Aki Noda was awarded the title of the Advanced Materials Scientist Medal by the International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM). This award was given in recognition of his academic contributions to the field of structural materials and engineering.
He gave an Advanced Materials Medal Lecture at the 64th Assembly of Advanced Materials Congress World Fellow Summit held from May 26 to 28.
